Pictures!

A few weeks ago, we had a gorgeous Saturday. So, I was delighted to pick up some lunch and take the kids to the park. Thomas met us there later and we had a great day. I did discover that taking pictures of your two toddlers at the park while also keeping them from running into the street or running into strangers is a difficult task. So, the pictures are somewhat deceiving.. making it seem as if my kids just pose for every picture with ease - when they are mere split seconds of stillness amidst the chaos and pure bliss of playing in a park on a warm day.

If you come to Nashville, this park is a must-see and they hosts MANY festivals and events all year long. This was an ordinary day, however, this plane is always on display. Jrew loved it!

Jazzy is learning how to pose for pictures. :)

In this group of photos, Jrew is standing on an old train. This train is from the 1930's and I'm sure it has some other fancy history story, but I don't remember at this moment. Ha.

I love this picture of them with their hands held - even if I did cut off their heads.

She looks like she's getting ready to play football.

The above look is a classic one that Jrew has inherited from his father.
His father makes it classic I guess, and Jrew is taking on the role here.

Happy Valentines Day

I am truly thankful to God for my amazing husband and our sweet babies. We had a great day today and are simply loved by the King. We pray for each of you at night and pray that you are blessed and well. This Valentines day, I wrote a song for Thomas. Go to www.sarinphoto.com/dita/ to hear the song. My friend Sarin and his wife Rebeckah helped me record it secretly when Thomas wasn't around. :)

Updates:
Jrew: talking like crazy. loves Dora, Elmo, Blues Clues, and Sid the Science Kid. Just said to Thomas "Don't pick your nose." He loves his friends at school. He knows almost all of the letters of the alphabet and can count almost to twenty. (He occasionally skips 13, 14, 15, and 16). He is trying to remember to tell us when he needs to potty but he hasn't totally bought into the program. He is really good at puzzles and knows a lot of shapes including octagon!

Jazz: learning to say words. Likes to say "Thank you, love you, and bye". She eats twice as much as Jrew and is just as busy and hyper as he is. they love to wrestle and play chase with each other. She is precious beyond imagination and loves to be held and LOVES to snuggle. I love that too, except when I'm cooking. She literally wraps her little monkey self around my leg and refuses to let go until I pick her up. She is lovely and wakes up happy every morning. She goes to bed swiftly at 7:30 and if we miss her bedtime, she starts yawning and rubbing her eyes quite a bit. She will get fussy and sad but if she's still up say 8:30 or so, she'll totally wind back up into play mode with Jrew. She is so easy to put to bed. I just lay her down, cover her up, say night night and leave the room. In fact, she can't go to sleep if others are in the room. It drives her crazy.

That is all for now. Love you all.
